CY Executive are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to take on a newly created, dynamic role within a well-established and growing organisation in Worcester, taking ownership of key accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and insightful financial reporting.

As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close, ensuring accurate reporting within strict deadlines.
  • Managing cash flow, payments, and financial controls.
  • Overseeing VAT returns and HMRC Revenue reporting.
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register, handling depreciation, and reconciling balance sheets.
  • Analysing gross margins, identifying performance improvements, and supporting budgeting.
  • Managing payroll and pension processes (via external providers).
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of financial systems, including Opera and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Supporting year-end statutory accounts and audits.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) or qualified by experience.
  • Strong understanding of UK bookkeeping, management accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (experience with Opera is a plus).
  • High attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
