Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns.
- Handle bookkeeping and assist clients with day-to-day accounting needs.
- Support senior accountants in more complex tasks, including audits and financial analysis.
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary information, resolve queries, and ensure timely submission of accounts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and accounting standards.
- Provide advice and support to clients on a variety of financial matters.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or AAT with a strong commitment to further professional development.
- Experience in an accountancy practice, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting softwareand proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
