In this role you will be working collaboratively in a team and reporting to Management Accountants. This will be a varied Accounts Assistant role where you will be responsible for both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, with duties including but not being limited to, communicating with clients and suppliers, handling queries, allocating cash receipts, completing bank reconciliations and bank statements, maintaining records, reviewing aged debt and assisting with month end. With exposure to a vast range of duties across accounts this is an excellent role to develop your skills and knowledge.

What you will need:

  • Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise workload and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role is essential. Whilst not essential, experience using Sage 200 is advantageous.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving nature to identify and resolve discrepancies, as well as respond to queries.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confident in communicating and building strong relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
