Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day Legal Cashier and purchase ledger duties
  • Ensure completion of tasks to a high standard
  • Handle areas such as Payroll, budgets, forecasting, VAT, and credit control
  • Work with a supportive team to achieve goals
  • Prompt recording and allocation of bill receipts received from the firm's clients.
  • Prompt identification of client money received into the office account and liaising with partners to ensure that the necessary steps are carried out to ensure compliance with SRA Accounts Rules.
  • Providing cover for client account receipts, payments, transfers and interest calculations
  • Dealing with queries relating to client account transactions and balances.
What we need from you:
  • Have demonstratable experience in a legal cashiering role, those with experience in a fast-paced law firm.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, along with other Microsoft packages.
  • Experience in handling areas such as Payroll, budgets, forecasting, VAT, and credit control
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Legal accounts software experience is desirable.
