My client, a Software company based in the Worcester are is looking to recruit a Cyber Security and Data Protection Analyst on a Permanent basis. This is a Hybrid role that will require you to spend 2 or 3 days in the office initially but less moving forward.The main function of the role is to deliver new capabilities round Cyber Security and data protection, having food understanding of the companies technologies and control any inherent risks.Some of the key responsibilities of the role include- Be first point of contact for customer assessments such as cyber security, ESG, risk management and data protection- Develop a knowledge base for handling customer due diligence audits- Preform assessments of control measures for companies partners and vendors- Manage a schedule of policy reviews and updates- Maintain a register of Data processors- Raise Data Protection concerns with relevant stakeholders- Conduct regular department assessments to evaluate cyber and data protection controlsAs a suitable candidate you will offer the following- Cyber related qualifications would be preferred- Data Protection qualifications would be preferred- Project Management qualifications would be preferred- Training or qualifications in system auditing would be preferred- knowledge of EU or UK GDPR and Data Protection - knowledge of system exploits and mitigations, scanning, pen testing- Managing varied workloads- knowledge of Cyber essentials, iso27001/22302, SOC 2- Experience in NIST or CIS frameworks- understanding of risk management methodologies- Proficient in using common business applications, incl MS Office Suite and Power BIThe salary on offer is up to £45,000Keywords:Cyber Security, Data Protection, GDPR, NIST, CIS, Power BI, PEN TESTING, Project Management, PM,
