My client, an Engineering company based in the Droitwich are is looking to recruit a CNC Section Manager on a permanent basisThis is a hands-on role, where you will manage the team to deliver a first class service to customers, both external and internal, and ensuring that production targets are met The main functions of the role include- Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery - Oversee day-to-day operations of the CNC machine shop- Allocate tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure production targets are met- Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimise performance and maintain product quality- interpret detailed blueprints and drawings/Calculate dimensions- Measure and test completed products to check for defects- Monitor and control costs in line with the business plan- Provide customer quotations As a suitable candidate you will offer the following- Previous experience working in managerial or supervisory role is essential- Previous experience in the programming, setting and operating of XYZ CNC machines is essential- An ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both colleagues and customers- An understanding of the demands of the role and the time and attention needed to produce impressive results- A successful track record of delivering outstanding results - Experience in product costing - Understanding of CAD/CAM softwareThis role is based on Mon-Fri and the salary on offer is up to £45,000Keywords:XYX, CNC, CAD/CAM, SUPERVIOSR, MANAGER
