About the Business

An opportunity to be a Finance Manager for a technology business based in Worcester, but operating nationally. It’s a well-regarded business with a fun and friendly team and great reputation. This flexible role will provide plenty of opportunities to work at all group levels.

Main Duties:

As a Finance Manager, your main duties include:

  • Preparing information for key stakeholders to support business planning and decision making
  • Being a key business partner to a range of operational staff
  • Maintaining accurate financial records, control systems, and policies to ensure that regulatory and statutory requirements are met
  • Assisting in the review, development, and implementation of internal control systems
  • Ensuring stakeholder issues are addressed and remedied
  • Managing recruitment, performance, and development of departmental staff
  • Contributing to special projects as appropriate

Location / Office / Culture

The role is hybrid based and situated in Worcester. The company operate from a modern office with a strong Finance Team. A flexible approach may be required for working outside of standard office hours.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA or similar qualifications
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and systems
  • A strong ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
