Main Duties:
As a Finance Business Partner your main duties include:
- Supporting the operations team in delivering their programmes.
- Reviewing and evaluating complex or strategic development opportunities.
- Assessing financial and commercial risks of new investments, conducting sensitivity and scenario analysis, and recommending risk mitigation strategies.
- Tracking and reporting on the progress of current projects.
- Preparing monthly management and project reports.
- Providing necessary information to the stakeholders to aid in decision-making and business planning.
- Managing the forecasting and budgeting process for projects.
- Assisting the Sales Team with timely and accurate reporting.
- Leading a small team and ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory, and business requirements.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and addressing issues promptly.
- Supporting the progress of new programmes.
- Helping to review, develop, and monitor systems to maintain a strong control environment.
Location / Office / Culture
Based in Worcester, the role is hybrid and has modern facilities with amazing offices and also has many great benefits. The company is very flexible, promoting a healthy balance between home and office work. The work pattern is 3 days in, 2 days out, 35 hours per week.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience a similar role would be preferred but isn’t a deal breaker
- Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar professional qualification
- A strong background in finance
- Skilled user of Microsoft packages, encompassing Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong interpersonal skills
