ONBOARDING SPECIALIST / MALVERN / OFFICE BASED / COMPETITIVE SALARY

A unique opportunity for an ambitious individual. A Malvern based SME is looking to find a forward-thinking onboarding professional to help drive the business forward.

As an Onboarding Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless and positive onboarding experience for all new employees. You will work closely with the Senior Management Team (SMT) and collaborate with various departments to deliver a comprehensive onboarding program. This role may also expand to include more general duties such as workforce planning and other HR functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities of the Onboarding Specialist:

  • Develop and implement effective onboarding processes and programs for new hires across both production and office roles.
  • Provide a welcoming and informative introduction to the company culture, values, and expectations.
  • Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions and training programs for new employees.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork and compliance documentation are completed accurately and promptly.
  • Act as the main point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the onboarding process.
  • Work closely with the SMT to continuously improve and refine onboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of onboarding programs and suggest improvements based on feedback and best practices.
  • Assist in workforce planning and other HR functions as needed.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in an onboarding or HR role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Minimum experience of 5 years in HR or recruitment.
