My Worcester based client are looking for a senior legal support assistant to join their team on a full time and permanent basis within their disputes and resolutions team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and highly organised individual to join my clients Team as a Senior Legal Support Assistant. This role is based in the Worcester office and is ideal for someone with a service-focused attitude who thrives in a support role, particularly within a legal or professional services environment.

Reporting to the Legal Support Manager, you will not only provide in-depth business support but also take on responsibilities such as deputising for the Legal Support Manager and coaching junior team members.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Draft and format letters, documents, and forms, ensuring high standards of accuracy.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for administrative and business support requirements for fee earners, proactively anticipating the team’s needs.
  • Assist with the preparation of all financial transactions as required.
  • Manage proactive diary entries for allocated fee earners, including making travel arrangements.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients and manage your fee earner’s inbox.
  • Manage the file opening process for the team, including conducting ID checks and conflict checks.
  • Work closely with the Legal Support Manager to support the implementation of new technology, systems, or process changes.
  • Act as a role model within the legal support team, coaching more junior members and supporting the induction of new team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Desirable experience in case management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Teams.
  • Demonstrated history in an administrative or PA role.
  • Excellent attention to detail with confident typing abilities.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
