Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage highway repair and maintenance projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Oversee site operations, project planning, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and implement strategies to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Report directly to the Highways Framework Manager, ensuring all project objectives align with the framework's overall strategy.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience managing highways projects, with a strong background in concrete structures and repairs.
- Knowledge and experience in cathodic protection systems.
- Strong understanding of highways infrastructure and previous experience working on highway maintenance or repair projects.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- A proactive, solution-focused attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are desirable.
