Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage highway repair and maintenance projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Oversee site operations, project planning, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and implement strategies to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and client requirements.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Report directly to the Highways Framework Manager, ensuring all project objectives align with the framework's overall strategy.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience managing highways projects, with a strong background in concrete structures and repairs.
  • Knowledge and experience in cathodic protection systems.
  • Strong understanding of highways infrastructure and previous experience working on highway maintenance or repair projects.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solution-focused attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are desirable.
