We’re looking for a Procurement & Inventory Manager to take ownership of our purchasing operations, supplier management, and stock control. This is a key role in ensuring our business runs efficiently, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and optimising stock levels to meet demand. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading Procurement Operations - Managing all company purchasing through our ERP/MRP system and ensuring supplier relationships are strong, efficient, and cost-effective.
  • Optimising Inventory & Stock Control - Keeping our online store fully stocked and ensuring raw materials are always available for sales orders.
  • Process Improvement - Identifying and implementing new strategies to reduce business risk and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Financial & Supplier Management - Preparing budgets, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate purchasing records.
  • Collaboration & Communication - Working closely with Finance, Sales, and Production teams to ensure seamless workflow and operational success.
  • Quality & Compliance - Ensuring all procured items meet required quality standards and adhering to key business accreditations.
  • Leadership & Training - Supporting and mentoring team members in procurement best practices and system usage. What

We’re Looking For:

  • Proven Experience - Background in purchasing, inventory management, and supplier negotiations.
  • ERP/MRP Expertise - Experience with ERP systems (Sage 200 preferred) and strong analytical skills to manage procurement data.
  • Strategic Thinker - Ability to problem-solve, make decisions under pressure, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong Communicator & Negotiator - Skilled in liaising with suppliers, negotiating the best deals, and working cross-functionally.
  • Leadership & Motivation - Ability to delegate, train, and inspire a team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Supply Chain & Market Knowledge - Understanding of market trends, stock management, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
