Established over 20 years ago, this rapidly growing online retail business are going from strength-to-strength. As a result, they are keen to bring on board a passionate individual to help them on their journey to becoming a 'world-class' brand.Your new roleIn this newly created role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure the business adheres to vital legislation, regulations and standards whilst developing and implementing compliance strategies and procedures.Key duties:

  • Maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Monitoring changes in law and disseminating training
  • Reviewing policies and procedures
  • Leading on ESG reporting, SECR, CSRD and ESRS
  • Examining and improving internal audit processes to prevent compliance issues
  • Complete regular internal auditing including assessments of compliance procedures
  • Managing compliance, reviewing audits and reporting to stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a compliance function
  • Significant knowledge in governance, risk and compliance frameworks with a deep understanding of global regulatory standards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
  • Forward-thinking mindset - capable of making sound decisions and driving compliance knowledge
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
