Sonic Summary

My client, an Engineering company based in Worcestershire, is looking to recruit a 3D Quality Inspector on a Permanent basis.
The role requires candidates to have previous inspection experience, including non-conformance handling and reporting, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and standards.
The position covers a PM shift from Monday to Thursday, 14:30 to 23:00, and Fridays from 14:30 to 18:30.
The basic salary on offer is £27,000, with an additional 20% shift allowance.
Candidates should have experience with 3D scanning and IT systems, including ERP, MS Office, and basic CAD.

This is to cover a PM shift, Mon-Thurs 1430-2300 and Fridays, 1430-1830

As a suitable candidate you will be expected to interpret drawings, ensure compliance with customer requirements and produce relevant documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

The main responsibilities associated with the role include

- Perform inspections using tools such as Hexagon CMMs(PC-DMS), Zeiss 3D scanners, manual tools and visual inspection techniques
- Interpret Drawings
- Report and manage quality issues
- Document results using Excel and Zeiss Piweb
- Conduct 5S and TPM activities

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- Previous inspection experience including non conformance handling, reporting, approval/rejections
- Identifying appropriate inspection methods
- Capable in manual and computerized measurement techniques
- Experience in interpreting technical drawings and standards (ASME, ISO)
- Experience with 3D scanning, Ideally Zeiss
- Experience with IT systems including ERP. MS Office and basic CAD

The basic salary on offer is £27,000 with a 20% shift allowance
