Do you have a passion for working with children and adolescents with complex mental health needs?Service Care Solutions are recruiting a Senior Mental Health CAMHS Practitioner (CBT Therapist) to support Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. This is a Band 7 role offering hybrid working. The successful candidate will provide high-intensity psychological support to young people experiencing a range of mental health conditions.Job Role: Band 7 Senior CAMHS Practitioner (CBT Therapist)Pay Rate: £30 p/h ltd (£26.93 p/h PAYE) + £250 sign-up bonusLocation: Worcestershire / Hybrid WorkingWorking Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00 (Flexible)Contract: Permanent / Full TimeThe post holder will be a key member of the CAMHS team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions to children and adolescents.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children and adolescents to determine their mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored CBT and DBT treatment plans, addressing a range of complex mental health issues.
  • Deliver effective, evidence-based interventions both in-person and remotely, ensuring continued engagement and therapeutic alliance.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, conducting regular reviews, risk assessments, and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff and trainees within the CAMHS team.
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary case discussions.
  • Maintain high-quality clinical records and participate in service evaluation.

Requirements:

  • Professional accreditation (e.g., BABCP or equivalent).
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.
  • Substantial experience delivering CBT and/or DBT.
