About the Role: As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth by developing significant partnerships rather than focusing on transactional business. You will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing annual contracts valued at £250,000+ within the Defence and Corporate sectors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with key decision-makers in target industries to develop high-value partnerships
  • Generate and secure annual contracts worth £250,000+
  • Support the companys growth objectives by driving business development within the Defence and Corporate sectors
  • Manage the end-to-end business development process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing
  • Work closely with the internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of training and consultancy services
  • Contribute to the long-term strategic growth of the business

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in business development, particularly in securing high-value contracts (£250,000+)
  • Experience working within the Defence, Corporate, or related sectors
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented
  • Willingness to work from the Worcester headquarters, with a hybrid model available after integration
