About the Role:
As a Looked After Children's Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and circumstances
- Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and carers
- Advocating for the best interests of children in court proceedings and reviews
- Collaborating with multi-agency professionals to ensure coordinated support
- Monitoring children's progress and making necessary adjustments to care plans
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, MA in Social Work)
- Registration with Social Work England
- Significant experience working with Looked After Children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
