Our client is a leading manufacturer of critical components, known for their advanced engineering capabilities and commitment to quality. They operate across multiple sites, supplying high-precision parts to various industries. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic supply chain environment, ensuring smooth operations and supplier coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure timely subcontractor deliveries and maintain On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) targets.
- Raise, archive, and review purchase orders (POs), ensuring proper distribution to suppliers and accurate system documentation.
- Conduct daily and weekly stock reviews with suppliers and update systems accordingly.
- Attend daily production meetings, relay supplier delivery plans, and collaborate with Operations and Procurement teams.
- Monitor KPIs, compile reports for the Subcontract Manager, and support supplier visits and meetings.
Candidate Requirements:
- Exposure in a similar supply chain, purchasing, procurement, or logistics coordination role, preferably in manufacturing or engineering.
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, data handling), numerical aptitude, and ability to manage production paperwork.
- Experience with ERP systems and quality management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and a proactive approach to optimizing supply chain processes.
