We are looking for a TrainingManager to join our growing Make Ready division.

Churchill has been the leading provider of Make Ready and other specialist vehicle preparation services within the Ambulance sector for over 15 years. Make Ready currently work across three NHS Trusts covering the South-East Coast, South Central and Northwest providing a full range of vehicle preparation and station cleaning services which includes specialist expertise in relation to service delivery, infection prevention control, technology, auditing and training.

The Training Manager will have one direct role and will develop and deliver our comprehensive training programme, which is critical to the success of our Make Ready delivery. This will include the use of qualified Practitioners / Accredited Trainers; Trust approval; training aligned to the National Core Skills Training Framework; induction, ongoing and refresher training covering all areas.

As Training Manager you’ll be:

  • Maintaining strong client relationship with high levels of satisfaction
  • Providing and maintaining the quality-of-service delivery
  • Overseeing and presenting training and refresher programmes
  • Responsible for decision-making and the process of implementation
  • Work with the Regional A&E Director to oversee governance arrangements that relate to training.
  • Working with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments.
  • A specialist in the specific skills required for the role of 'Make Ready’, and changes to the commissioner’s requirements.
  • Up to date of any new educational and training techniques and methods

As Training Manageryou’ll have:

  • 2+ years’ experience in training
  • Demonstrable record of delivery of educational, teaching and training programmes.
  • Excellent presentation skills; engaging, accurate & focused.
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Excellent team building, organisation and leadership skills
  • Specialist in accurate record keeping,
  • Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety Laws.
  • Methodical, systematic, highly organised
