Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

Due to expansion, we are recruiting for a Freight & Logistics Co-Ordinator, for a well established, rapidly growing business based in Worcester. We are ideally looking for a candidate who has experience working with freight forwarders, importing from the far east.

Details of Role:

  • Liaise with freight forwarders for the costs of both airfreight and sea freight consignments.
  • Approve bookings and ensure correct documentation is in place for Customs clearance.
  • Liaising between factories and freight forwarders to ensure bookings are sent through and space secured on required vessels.
  • Reconcile supplier invoices to load schedules, ensuring correct pricing and quantity, updating our internal SAP system with shipment details.
  • Produce commodity code listing and reconciliation to invoice and packing list for freight forwarders ready for Customs clearance process.
  • Work with yearly external Audit company to provide reports, OPR records and supplier and purchase invoice trails.
  • Work with HMRC for the import / export audit and also OPR audit, ensuring all paperwork trails are available and accurate for audit.

Experience Needed:

  • Experience of working with freight forwarders to import from the far east.
  • Motivated and positive individual.
  • Computer literate with experience of MS Office programs.
  • Great interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
