Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next role? Vision for Education are recruiting Teaching Assistants across the Bournemouth area for a number of roles! If you have experience, or education based qualifications, we want to hear from you!  

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting student’s learning and development. You will work closely with experienced teaching staff to provide academic and pastoral support to students with diverse needs.

If you are successful in being offered the role, the school will employ you directly onto their contract. (please note all vetting must be completed via Vision for Education)

Responsibilities:

  • Individualised Support:  Provide tailored support to children with learning difficulties ensuring they have equal access to learning opportunities and resources.
  • Assistance in Classroom: Collaborate with teachers to create inclusive learning environments, assisting with classroom activities and promoting positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Emotional Support: Foster a supportive and nurturing relationship with students, offering emotional support and encouragement to build their confidence and self-esteem.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and external panels to ensure continuity of care and support for each child.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of student progress and any incidents, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with school policies.
  • Inclusive Practices: Promote inclusivity and diversity within the school community, advocating for the needs of children with SEN and raising awareness among staff and peers.
