Tax Manager
Location: Workington, Cumbria
Salary: 40,000 - 47,000 + Bonus

Adecco are thrilled to be recruiting for a Tax Manager on behalf of our well-established client. This role involves overseeing income tax, corporation tax, VAT, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax affairs, ensuring compliance while minimising client tax liabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert tax advice on compliance and planning.
  • Stay up to date with tax legislation and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Manage tax returns, computations, and planning for individuals and businesses.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Support the Managing Director in achieving business objectives.
  • Train and mentor colleagues on tax matters.
  • Attend senior management meetings and contribute to business development.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong experience in tax management and planning.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK tax legislation.
  • A proactive approach with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and develop staff.
