Site Manager

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Managerwith a background in logisticson a permanentbasis, to be located in Workington.
This role will be responsible for the safety performance, security standards and achievement of all contract KPI's at the Security & Distribution Centre. The candidate must therefore be able to demonstrate strong leadership at all times.
The successful candidate will be able to promote and encourage safe working practices and initiatives within the workforce and competently provide operational management and direction to ensure maximum utilisation of resources.
Crucially, a key aspect of the role will be to establish and maintain site security standards and emergency arrangements that consistently meet the requirements of the Office for Nuclear Regulation. As a result, management experience in a nuclear setting is essential.
Applicants must have excellent communication and customer facing skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office and Dynamics AX or a similar system and have strong report writing skills. You will also have the ability to manage a demanding workload to exacting timescales. Financial awareness and a certificate in IOSH Managing Safely are also essential.
