Your new roleThe finance team comprises 2 Finance Business Partners and a Financial Controller. This role offers the opportunity to learn from a passionate team and a Financial Controller with vast experience in his niche as well as excellent commercial knowledge and involvement, whilst having the opportunity of full support and mentorship through your studies, including AAT and CIMA. The client is open to considering traditional apprenticeships as well as training contract routes. You will learn the mechanics of the business through carrying out tasks supporting the Finance and Commercial functions to help with the daily operation of the department. This role would be well suited to an ambitious and driven candidate who has a passion for finance and would like to build a career in this field. Examples of daily tasks include:
- Preparing and managing daily KPI's
- Support internal reporting such as waste analysis and production order profitability
- Logistics cost analysis
- Assisting with stock takes and subsequent reporting
- Helping the business with it's overall SOX reporting requirements
- Month end reporting procedures
What you'll need to succeed
- Some experience of working within a Finance function
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Competency with Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
