Job Title: Multi Skilled Fitter
Location: Worksop
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 6am to 4:30pm
Salary: 16.72 per hour
Optimise By Recruitment is assisting our client in their search for two multiskilled fitters for a permanent position at their workshop in Worksop. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in both electrical and hydraulic systems, ensuring they can effectively contribute to the team and maintain high operational standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnosing electrical and hydraulic issues in vehicles, including lighting systems, ignition systems, and electronic components.
- Help with the installation, repair, and replacement of electrical wiring harnesses and connectors in vehicles.
- Help calibrate and adjust electrical components to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve electrical or hydraulic design issues during the build process.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings.
- Proficiency in electrical/hydraulic fitting and electro-mechanical assembly techniques.
