Finance Analyst Up to £40,000Worksop, NottinghamshireElevation Recruitment Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Worksop area as they look to recruit a Finance Analyst into their team on a full time, permanent basis.Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all accounting allocations are accurate and fully documented, with a focus on gross profit reporting
  • Support timely and precise reporting on sales performance and stock levels
  • Uphold internal financial controls, ensuring robust checks and balances are in place
  • Prepare a variety of reports, including weekly KPI updates for stock management, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and gross margin analysis for actuals, budgets, and forecasts
  • Maintain and improve financial systems while ensuring master data remains accurate
  • Provide coverage for the Financial Controller when required

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, offering innovative solutions to challenges
  • Advanced Excel expertise, including proficiency in functions like VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and macros, along with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets
  • Solid analytical and reporting skills with relevant experience
  • Progressing towards or holding a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ATT)
