What you'll be doing

You will be providing day to day support on all operational Health, Safety and Environment activities, ensuring a safe working environment is maintained in alignment with Group policy.

Key Accountabilities

* Compile and record Health, Safety and Environment statistical data.

* Conduct routine checks of safety management systems and equipment.

* Amend and update policy documents to the existing Greencore standard.

* Control near miss data reporting and tracking closure.

* Issue inspections and audits as per the schedules.

* Update electronic systems including COSHH and Accident Management systems.

* Raise purchase orders for supplies and equipment.

* Update daily, weekly and monthly KPI spreadsheets.

* Collate environmental and waste information and forward on to Group Environmental Team

An ideal candidate would have the following skills and qualifications:

* A sound understanding of Safety, Health and Environmental processes (IOSH qualification preferable)

* Excellent IT skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

* The ability to work unsupervised.

* Excellent communication and engagement skills
