Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a well-established global manufacturing company to recruit an experienced Assembly Team Leader, based at their factory in Worksop. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading a dynamic manufacturing team to achieve production targets, ensure high-quality standards and control product costs.Salary: £45,000 - £50,000Hours: Monday - Friday days based (flexible hours)Duties of Assembly Team Leader will include:

  • Lead the assembly team to ensure customer requirements are met, focusing on quality, on-time delivery (OTD), and product cost reduction
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing principles across the site and ensure continuous improvements in quality, productivity, and cost
  • Drive strategic initiatives, including the preparation of revenue budgets, capital investment projects, and process improvements, from initiation to timely completion.
  • Manage and monitor the execution of production schedules and resources, maintaining efficiency and adherence to quality standards
  • Ensure employee safety is a priority by adhering to all health and safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety within the team

We would be keen to speak with Assembly Team Leaders/Assembly Supervisors with the following:

  • Proven experience in leading large teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP), with a clear understanding of order generation processes
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques to drive process improvements.
  • A comprehensive understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • The ability to lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects.
