Job Summary: We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong mechanical design skills and CAD proficiency to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support small to medium-sized product modification projects from concept to production.
- Solve product issues related to manufacturing, material supply, and customer needs.
- Assist in R&D and cost reduction projects.
- Provide R&D support, including prototype development for customer-specific tenders.
- Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Pro Engineer).
- Perform engineering calculations to ensure design performance and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Conduct prototype testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation.
Role Requirements:
Education/Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design.
Related Experience:
- Experience in medium to high-volume electro/mechanical and pneumatic high-pressure systems is essential.
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in designing pneumatic systems (essential).
- Proficiency with Pro Engineer (desirable).
- Experience in designing stamped, turned, and cast metal parts.
- Experience in designing plastic injection molded parts (desirable).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
- Proven track record of delivering goals on time.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and DFMA (advantageous).
- Familiarity with EN and international standards.
- Experience in the PPE safety industry (desirable).
