Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on teaching for EAL, BTEC, and City & Guilds Engineering qualifications (Levels 1-3), including for apprentices.
  • Utilise both in-person and digital platforms (e.g., Google Classroom) to deliver exceptional lessons.
  • Prepare and mark coursework and set SMART targets to help students achieve their fullest potential.
  • Develop creative resources that spark a love for learning and monitor student progress to foster positive educational outcomes.

About You:

You are an experienced engineer with practical industry knowledge in Welding, Machining (Manual/CNC), and general maintenance. You are an effective team player with a genuine passion for teaching and the ability to bring engineering concepts to life through a blend of practical, theoretical, and digital methods. Essential requirements:

  • Level 3+ vocational qualification in Engineering.
  • Teaching qualification and assessor award (or willingness to obtain these).
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths (or willingness to achieve).
