We are looking for a committed and proactive English and Maths Co-ordinator to join our team, working with learners who are part of an alternative provision in Newark and Worksop.

This role is based on-site in both Newark and Worksop, with the flexibility for one hybrid working day per week. You will have the option to work either four mornings per week or two full days on-site plus one hybrid day online.

Key Responsibilities of the English and Maths Co-ordinator:
  • Develop personalised learning plans to support students in achieving Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on learner progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching approaches where needed.
  • Identify and address barriers to learning, creating a positive, inclusive environment that encourages engagement and success.
What We're Looking For:
  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience delivering education and training in Functional Skills English and Maths, ideally to Level 2 learners.
  • Flexibility to work on-site in both Newark and Worksop, with the ability to deliver engaging online lessons for one hybrid day each week.
