The Production Shift Manager is a critical role in the Engineering & Manufacturing department of our FMCG company. This role will oversee and manage all production-related activities during their shift, ensuring efficiency and quality in operations.

Description

  • Manage and lead the production team during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure production targets are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and control production processes to maintain quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations on the production floor.
  • Coordinate with other shift managers for smooth shift transitions.
  • Resolve any production-related issues or disputes that may arise.
  • Participate in training and development activities for the production team.
  • Report on shift performance to the higher management.

Profile

A successful Production Shift Manager should have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of FMCG industry practices and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using production management software.
