Job Description:

Holden Knight Healthcare is proud to be recruiting for an Independent Fostering Agency that is looking to hire a Deputy Regional Manager for their North East Region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fostering professional to take a step up into a leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of a reputable agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Regional Manager in overseeing the fostering services within the North East region.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies governing fostering services.
  • Drive regional growth by managing foster carers, placements, and ensuring a high level of care and support is delivered to children and young people.
  • Supervise and support social workers and other team members, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Manage regional budgets and performance, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Act as part of the out-of-hours support rota for foster carers and staff.
  • Promote recruitment and retention of foster carers within the region.
