Job Description:
Holden Knight Healthcare is proud to be recruiting for an Independent Fostering Agency that is looking to hire a Deputy Regional Manager for their North East Region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fostering professional to take a step up into a leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of a reputable agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Regional Manager in overseeing the fostering services within the North East region.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies governing fostering services.
- Drive regional growth by managing foster carers, placements, and ensuring a high level of care and support is delivered to children and young people.
- Supervise and support social workers and other team members, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Manage regional budgets and performance, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
- Act as part of the out-of-hours support rota for foster carers and staff.
- Promote recruitment and retention of foster carers within the region.

Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Experience in fostering services, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to drive regional growth and meet performance targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
