Title: Electrical Installation Lecturer
Location: Worksop
Pay: £25 - £35 per hour including holiday pay
Duration: 30 hours per week, Temporary (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
Reed - Further Education are seeking a Electrical Installation Lecturer to teach on Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation Courses. This will be with post 16 students.
What’s the day-to-day responsibilities of an Electrical Installation Lecturer?
- Plan and deliver high-quality Electrical Installation lessons to learners at Level 2 and Level 3 level.
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the needs of learners
- Assess and provide feedback on student progress
- Support learners in achieving their educational goals
- Ensure compliance with all college policies and procedures
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
What are the required skills and qualifications needed for this role?
- PGCE / Cert Ed / PTLLS or other teaching qualification
- At least L3 in Electrical Installation or similar discipline
- Recent experience of working in the industry
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their optimum
- Exceptional verbal /written communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of current teaching practices and experience of utilising a range of teaching practices to enhance learner journey and progression
