- Process large volumes of data and information from various sources to ensure evidential opportunities are identified
- Conduct data searches across police systems to retrieve and organise information
- Review, assess, and link relevant intelligence to assist the investigative team
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with legal and procedural requirements
- Handle sensitive and confidential material with discretion
- Experience in assessing and making sense of complex information
- Ability to identify connections between datasets and present findings clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (spreadsheets, databases, data entry)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to deadlines
- Knowledge of Data Protection Act 1998, Computer Misuse Act 1990, and Official Secrets Act 1989 is desirable
