Location: Worthing (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + OTE + Company Benefits
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business within the care home sector, offering a comprehensive procurement solution for consumables, medical supplies, and healthcare equipment. Your consultative approach will help clients streamline purchasing, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target care homes that would benefit from my clients’ solutions.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers.
- Implement a sales strategy and be able to work on your own initiative.
- Generate new business through proactive outreach, networking, and strategic follow-ups.
- Conduct client meetings and present tailored solutions.
- Manage sales pipelines and forecast revenue opportunities.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the company’s reach.
- Use the Prima ERP system & Evolution X web to track and manage business activity.
- Provide data-driven insights to help clients manage budgets and cut costs effectively.

- Strong business development and relationship-building skills - You thrive in consultative sales and have a proven track record.
- Confidence in client presentations and closing deals - You know how to pitch, persuade, and win business.
- Exceptional negotiation skills - You can secure competitive agreements that benefit both clients and the business.
- Ability to manage sales pipelines and forecast effectively.
- IT-savvy - Comfortable using CRM systems, LinkedIn, and research tools for prospecting.
- Full UK driving license & own transport - A company car may be available on a flexible salary package.
