In this role, the Electrical Design Engineer will design and integrate Ex certified components into industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with ATEX and IEC Ex standards. The role also involves creating detailed project specifications, AutoCAD drawings, and managing the integration of complex electrical systems within space-constrained environments.

The ideal Electrical Design Engineer will have hands-on experience in designing and integrating electrical systems for industrial or marine applications, with a strong understanding of compliance standards like ATEX and IEC Ex. They should excel in creating detailed AutoCAD designs, managing complex projects, and ensuring safety in high-risk environments.

The Role:

Create and integrate Ex certified components into industrial materials handling equipment.
Ensure designs meet ATEX, Ex, and IEC Ex safety standards.
Develop detailed electrical system designs and enclosure layouts using AutoCAD.
Address electrical and mechanical system integration within space-constrained environments.

The Person:

Proficiency in designing electrical systems, including experience with Ex certified components.
Understanding of ATEX, Ex, and IEC Ex safety standards and compliance
Knowledge of electrical and electronic control systems, including AC inverters, industrial controllers.
