Job Purpose:

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for assembling electronic production units following detailed instructions and training. You will ensure that all components meet quality standards, with a focus on accuracy, testing, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Operative
  • Build cable harnesses according to wiring instructions as a Production Operative.
  • Follow detailed assembly procedures and guidelines required of a Production Operative.
  • Conduct tests using appropriate test equipment.
  • Accurately complete all production paperwork within set timeframes.
  • Assist with job function training for co-workers when required, in your capacity as a Production Operative.
Metrics for Success for the Production Operative
  • Adherence to company policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements by all Production Operatives.
  • Completion of production activities accurately and on time.
  • Ensure route cards are completed, signed, and forwarded for the next production stage.
  • Maintain builds to IPC standards and customer specifications.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Report any issues related to quality, processes, or equipment to the supervisor.
