Holmes Indexer – Major Crime Investigation Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Holmes Indexer to support a large-scale investigation within a UK Police Force. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of a Major Incident Room, ensuring critical information is accurately recorded and managed.Location: Worthing, West SussexRate: £18.38Contract: Full-time, 37 hours per weekKey Responsibilities:
  • Register and index documents into the HOLMES database
  • Ensure all data is accurately recorded, managed, and retrieved in line with Major Incident Room procedures
  • Raise and result actions to support the Senior Investigating Officer (SIO)
  • Identify and escalate key information and inconsistencies within case files
  • Support Exhibits and Disclosure Officers with administrative tasks
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a Major Incident Room (MIR) or using HOLMES
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to interpret and manage sensitive data accurately
  • Knowledge of Major Incident Room Standardised Administrative Procedures (MIRSAP) is desirable
