A primary school, in Worthing, that specialises within SEN is searching for a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with complex learning needs. This setting caters for 221 students between the ages of 4-11 and, provides teaching strategies to appropriate to each individuals learning and, social needs. You will make a key difference in the progress of the students cognition learning, communication, sensory and physical development, and social, emotional and mental health development.

Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a child with additional needs and, help students understand instructions.
  • Assist in implementing individual learning and, support plans.
  • Support children during social activities and outings.

  • Work alongside the teacher and SEN team to create a positive learning environment.
  • Prepare and provide learning materials.
