Assistant Accountant
- Annual Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum

Our client, a market-leading production company is now on the lookout for a talented Assistant Accountant to join their organisation due to the continued growth of the business. You will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in finance, looking to further their career in a stable and growing business.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the preparation of payroll for external payroll providers.
- Contribute to the management accounts and fixed asset management.
- Acquire detailed knowledge of the software packages used to enable flexible coverage of a range of roles.
- Support site stock counts and assist with VAT returns.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide cash flow updates.
- Support the purchase and sales ledger team as needed.
- Engage in monthly reporting and construct reports as required using multiple software packages.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- AAT qualified or Degree Education and started ACCA/ACA or CIMA
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and systems.
- Proficient in using various financial software packages.
