Sales Manager

Our customer is seeking a dynamic, experienced Sales Manager to drive forward a growing direct marketing and data analysis company based in Wrexham.

The company serves a loyal customer base using propriety software to fulfil customers' direct marketing and data needs.

It is a small and friendly company, seeking someone who wants to get stuck in and be part of the team. The successful candidate will work directly to the Sales Director and senior management, and be expected to play a key role in shaping the future of the business.

  • You will have a strong track record in building customer relationships and generating new business.
  • Experience in direct marketing is vital
  • Confidence in data analysis and software sales are valuable
  • You will have a strong history of customer account management, understand data, and be an independent self-starter
  • This is a tight-knit small team, so the ability to enjoy working in a team and contribute to all parts of team discussions is critical.
  • Our customer is looking for someone with a good fit with their company culture of loyalty, mutual support and flexibility.
  • You must have experience of contract negotiation and analysing sales performance to make commercial decisions

The role includes:

  • Lead Account Manager for many valued customers
  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of services for customers
  • New business generation & meeting sales targets
  • Leading on developing and implementing an existing marketing strategy
  • Providing customers with data analytics insights, helping them understand and optimise the use of their data
  • Working with the in-house operations team and development team to deliver for customers

You will be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Experience in sales and account management

  • Are a highly motivated, well organised self-starter
  • Experience of direct marketing
  • Confidence in data handling, and supporting customers use of their own data

£40-60k (with some flexibility, depending on experience)
