Job Title: Engineering Project Manager
Salary:
£55,000 - £65,000 (DOE)
Orion is partnered with a well-established FMCG manufacturing company based in Wrexham which is recruiting for an ambitious and driven Engineering Project Manager
- Oversee the full lifecycle of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Plan, execute, and close engineering projects while coordinating resources and schedules.
- Create and manage detailed project plans to be shared with clients and stakeholders.
- Administer project budgets, track costs, and find ways to minimise expenses.
- Carry out risk management to reduce project risks and maintain high-quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate both internal and external project teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide regular progress reports, proposals, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Track project performance and ensure the successful achievement of both short and long-term goals.
- Adjust project scope, schedule, and costs as required, using appropriate verification techniques.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team atmosphere.
Engineering Project Manager Required Experience:
- Previous experience managing large-scale capex engineering projects.
- At least 5 years’ experience in project management.
- Strong knowledge of project management frameworks and methodologies (e.g. AGILE, PMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Solid understanding of risk management and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of managing budgets and effectively allocating resources.
Engineering Project Manager Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Project Management certification (AGILE, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
- Experience with project scheduling software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
