Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a reliable, talented and nurturing Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to work in schools based in Wrexham to start from the 6th January 2025.

The successful applicant will provide academic and pastoral support to pupils including those with additional learning needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across KS1-KS4, providing essential support in the classroom. Applications from experienced Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants, Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) and from enthusiastic graduates with relevant experience will be considered. Experience of supporting any of the following needs would be an advantage but is not essential: ADHD, Asperger Syndrome, Autism (ASD) Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD / EBD) Challenging Behaviour, global Development Delay (GDD) Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Social, emotional and mental Health (SEMH) or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) The successful candidate will:

· Provide support to pupils including those with SEND and EAL

· Have phonics experience

· Be a positive role model and offer encouragement and promote confidence

· Help with classroom preparation

· Have an enhanced child only DBS

· Be registered with the EWC

· Have the Right to Work in the UK
