Role: Extrusion Operator

Salary: 27,000 -28,500 DOE

Russell Taylor Group are looking to recruit several Extrusion Operators to join our client in Llay.

The successful candidate will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour shifts, alternating days and nights).

The Role:

Operating extrusion machines to produce various products.
Monitoring the extrusion process to ensure smooth operation, adjusting as needed.
Ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications.
Performing regular checks on the machines to detect any mechanical issues and notifying maintenance teams if necessary.
Maintaining a clean and organised work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Recording production data, including output rates and any machine issues.
Collaborating with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Adhering to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

The candidate:

No extrusion experience required as full training is provided
Previous production experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is essential
A strong willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to quality and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
Flexible to work both day and night shift
