Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a Ruabon-based manufacturing company in their search for Automation Design Engineer.
For the successful Automation Design Engineer our client is offering:
- £34,000 to £36,000 per annum (DOE)
- Day positions - Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 5.15 pm - Friday 4.15 pm
- Permanent role with a progressive company
- Every second Friday non-working
- Development opportunities within the company

The role - Automation Design Engineer:
- Design of Automated Machines / Equipment from First Principles to Full Design
- Develop detailed designs using CAD software.
- Conduct research and analysis to ensure design feasibility and optimization.
- Lead Design reviews
- Lead Machine Risk Assessment Review
- Prepare and present project information and costs at Stage gate 1 to 3
- Prepare project costings including BOM
- Provide support for modifications / design changes found at Build / Commissioning stages of the project
- Support Existing Equipment both in BIUK and other companies
What our client is looking for in a Automation Design Engineer:
- A Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or similar - ESSENTIAL
- Experience in equipment design/development - ESSENTIAL
- Strong Knowledge of using 3D CAD - ESSENTIAL
- Knowledge of Industrial automation and manufacturing processes.
