The role:
Our client is seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimise the daily business operations, leading a management team and exceeding customer expectations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and leading teams to achieve company objectives.
Key responsibilities of the Operations Manager:
- Effective leadership of the Management Teams and customer engagement to deliver projects in alignment with business goals, budgetary targets and customer expectations.
- Management of production operations.
- Implement policies and procedure to continually improve operational efficiencies.
- Overall responsibility of stock control and stock ordering processes.
- Leadership of Management Teams to monitor and achieve productivity targets, ensuring operation wide efficiency while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Management and continuous improvement of the existing Quality System and Health & Safety protocols in collaboration with the Management Teams.
- Oversee the coordination machine, tool and plant maintenance across departments, ensuring minimal downtime, optimal production efficiency and safety.
- Engage Management Team in employee performance appraisals ensuring that feedback and development opportunities are properly managed.
- Engage with customers to ensure that their requirements are understood and met, ensuring a positive and productive relationship and business growth.
Candidate requirements:
The successfully appointed Operations Manager will have:
- Proven Leadership and decision-making experience.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external customers.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven experience of production processes, stock control, and quality management systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Experience with database management and project tracking software is preferred.
- Conflict resolution and guiding team collaboration.
- Knowledge of Quality systems and Health and Safety
