Operations Manager Main Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Coordination: Manage the smooth, compliant movement of livestock between facilities, working closely with farmers and hauliers to optimise schedules.
  • Team Leadership: Guide the tech team, ensuring systems for traceability and reporting run efficiently and meet operational needs.
  • Data-Driven Operations: Track key metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and support data-led decision-making across the business.
  • Compliance & Standards: Uphold high standards of welfare, legal compliance, and operational best practice across all sites.



Operations Manager Required Attributes:

  • Experience in operations, ideally within agriculture, food and beverage manufacturing, or supply chain settings.
  • Strong team leadership and communication skills.
  • Confident handling data and using tools like Excel or CRM systems.
  • A hands-on, solution-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of livestock welfare and movement regulations (preferred).
