Incredibly proud of the part our plant plays in this global organisation, here at our Wrexham site we have an exciting opportunity join our team as a Plant Personal Assistant / Receptionist.

Joining a fast paced and busy plant we are looking for a dynamic individual to really make the role their own. Your primary focus will be to to provide effective administration support to the Plant Manager, Senior Management, and Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will provide effective administrative support, assist with driving and organising engagement events, and manage communication with our 255 colleagues to foster a positive and evolving workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and timely administrative support to the Plant Manager and Senior Management Team.
  • Act as the point of contact for facilities management and maintenance, coordinating site facility contractors and building strong relationships with providers.
  • Coordinate site services facilities (e.g., canteen, cleaners), attend meetings, ensure compliance with contracts, and address any issues.
  • Schedule, attend, and document actions from various meetings, following up on action items, as necessary.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor plant/corporate communications, acting as the communication champion for the site.
  • Manage general housekeeping on site, ensuring plant information noticeboards and electronic data are current and relevant.
  • Support in daily meetings, documenting actions and following up as required.
  • Ensure stationary provision for the plant, including ordering and maintaining stock levels.
  • Create purchase orders for the Plant Management Team, ensuring follow-through for booking in and invoice sign-off.
  • Arrange hospitality (on-site and off-site), including refreshments, transport, and accommodation, and communicate arrangements to all parties.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, including franking, and arranging couriers, as necessary.
  • Coordinate and maintain inductions for site contractors, ensuring records are up to date.
  • Administer hotel bookings, car hire, and transport for visitors and Management Team members attending off-site meetings, in compliance with company policy.
  • Act as the point of contact for external calls to the site, directing them to the appropriate team.
  • Identify and drive performance improvements on site.
  • Provide holiday/sickness cover for other support functions as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters.
  • Handle purchase orders, invoices, and engineering administration.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role, which will evolve as needed.
